How to keep up with AI

How to keep up with AI

Here’s my running lists of sites, podcasts and newsletters I use to keep up with AI.

The AI Daily Brief

This is a good summary of what’s happening in the industry with a quick five minute key topic and a further expansion of other main news in the AI world.

Last Week in AI

This is a once a week deep dive into the news and technologies affecting the industry. It’s a pretty big dive that often lasts one or two hours, so make sure you have time for this one.

Future Tech Pilot

This channel talks about Midjourney and shows new features plus a discussion of the Midjourney Office Hours, which is a recap of their meetings.

Logan Kilpatrick

Works at Google Deepmind as a Product Manager for Google AI Studio. Previously worked for OpenAI, Apple and NASA. Great interviews of people working in the AI Industry.

Matt Wolfe

Excellent Thursday recaps of what happened in AI for the previous week. More consumer focused covering other tips and sometimes a stream.

Mathew Berman

Insights and tests of every new major model and also covering major news.

The AI Grid

Excellent coverage of technologies, models and tests. I probably never miss an expisode and really enjoy the discussion on the testing of AI models.

Visual Studio Code

For news and developments of the most popular open source code editor. The only way to keep up with new releases and what works well with the editor.

Wes Roth

A lot of coverage of AI topics, but I mostly enjoy his deeper dive into new models or upgrades to existing chatbots and tools.

The Algorithmic Bridge

Substack from Alberto Romero on his thoughts about AI. Often insightful, although opinionated.

AlphaSignal

A compendium of industry news for AI developers.

The Deep View

AI News with more of an enterprise bend.
