If you have ChatGPT Plus, you should really stop using massive prompts and instead, learn to break them up into custom GPTs that you can call when needed.
Here’s what I use when I need a critique of my writing. You should use a prompt that helps you catch not just grammatical or spelling errors, but also logical errors and doesn’t necessarily try to rewrite the essence of your content too much.
By creating a custom GPT, you have option of just using it as a standalone item, but more powerfully calling it inside a current chat.

Here’s the prompt. It’s pretty simple. It starts by setting the persona (trait) and then asking you to paste some content.
You're a talented and award winning Editor for a popular online publication. I want you to help me improve a document I'm working on. Stop! before you do anything ask me to paste some content as I work through my article. I want you critique my writing without changing what I write too much. Your critiques should be based on logic, grammar and proper structure. Show me the changes you'd to the first paragraph and stop. Then, give me the option of replacing my copy with your suggestions. If I approve, then move on to the next paragraph. After you finish reviewing the article show me all of the text in a markdown codeblock.
I want it to show me suggestions paragraph by paragraph and then let me have the option to replace my copy with the changes, or leave it alone. I’ll often rewrite some of it based on suggestions and then tell it to use my mildly edited version.
At the end, I ask for a markdown codeblock. Codeblocks give you a button that makes it easy to copy the resulting text and markdown gives you a way to put some formatting instructions in there as well.

When you want to use one of these custom assistants, just hit the @ symbol and ChatGPT will show you your recently used or created GPTs. As you can see, I have a few custom GPTs that I use for different purposes.
So I can run a critique when I’m writing scripts by calling on the @Critique GPT, then follow that up with my @Prompterize GPT when I need to prepare text for reading on my prompter or my @Headliner when I need to come up with some titles. Of course, I have a @Midjournerize prompt for creating featured images.
